We have so many great memories from Heather and Morey's incredible wedding at the Eglinton Grand that we photographed back in August. They all started when we first met Heather and her bridesmaids getting ready at the swanky Intercontinental Hotel in downtown Toronto. The suite they were using was more of a sprawling estate so we had so much room to move around and capture this fun time of the day. Many of the rooms had an amazing view looking south to the lake so we tried to use this backdrop as much as possible for the girls. We then spent a bit of time with Morey and his best man sharing some laughs and jokes before finally seeing his bride for the first time. Roaming around the Yorkville area with Heather and Morey was so much fun and we really tried to find funky urban settings that reflected their creativity and excitement. We wandered around the U of T campus and onto Bloor St before finally heading off to the venue for the ceremony. After lots of laughs, tears and the final breaking of the glass, Heather, Morey and all their family and friends were ready for a party and this wedding did not disappoint. Rarely can we capture such a range of emotions in one night. One second we found ourselves taking pictures of guests laughing so hard they nearly fell over and the next moment we were capturing lots of tears and introspection as Heather and Morey's friends shared their feelings and memories of the couple throughout the night. Mix in the amazing sounds of the George St Kitts Band and you have one special night to remember. Thanks for having us be a part of your fabulous day and we wish Heather and Morey a wonderful life together!
