It is quite difficult to think of anything that didn't go absolutely perfect for Kristy and Bob's wedding on the last weekend of June on a gorgeous summer day. Sheena and I first arrived at the bride's parents' house to snap some pictures of the nervous excitement. There was lots of hairspray, music, and laughter filling the air that keep us on our toes as we tried to blend into the action to capture the true energy and emotion that filled the house. Sheena and I then met up with Bob at a local public gardens where we awaited Kristy for their first look moment. Kristy had no idea where Bob was waiting so she just walked towards me, down the stairs leading from the main gate where I was so happy to document the million emotions she must have been feeling right before seeing her groom for the first time on their wedding day. Then, Sheena and I spent about an hour working with Kristy and Bob as we wandered around the gardens capturing the couple spending quiet time together before the ceremony.
Then, just as we felt like we were just getting started, Sheena and I realized that it was time for us to set up at the Capitol Event Theatre before heading over to the church to photograph the ceremony. Once Kristy and Bob walked back down the aisle as husband and wife, it was time to party at the venue. Kristy and Bob didn't disappoint with their exceptional dancing skills and we really enjoyed listening to all of the speeches from family and friends as they were so touching and reflected a beautiful story of Kristy and Bob's relationship that Sheena and I also tried to capture through our lenses as we spent the day with the bride and groom and their family.
It was such a pleasure working with Kristy and Bob on their wonderful wedding day and we wish them the happiest of lives together!
