Spring is back and that is the most popular time for us to book engagement sessions which we absolutely love to photograph. They give us time to spend time with a couple and get to learn more about their interests and ideas for their big day coming up. We were so excited to spend a late afternoon-evening with Kara and Sean (and, obviously their new puppy named Rufus) when we met in Sherwood Park close to their home in mid-town Toronto. After we explored different areas of the park and tired out Rufus, who seemed thrilled to have his picture taken whenever we needed him to look, and returned him home (it was also a good excuse for a wardrobe change), we headed further north to make a final stop of the Duke of Kent pub where it all started for Kara and Sean on their first date. Then it was a quick trip south to the Yorkville Village where we had some more time to capture the two together while finding lots of interesting backgrounds, alleys and garages to compose the images. We can’t wait to spend the big day together coming up in June!
