Not too long ago, prior to the frigid temperatures we're currently experiencing, we met up with one of our favorite families for a photo session at one our favorite locations in Toronto - the R.C. Harris Water Treatment Facility in the beaches. We really love having no specific plan for the session and prefer to simply walk around and see what presents itself. On this day with Mark, Darrell and their kids Peyton and Sebastian, we explored some of the really cool buildings, hung out by the water and examined some rocks, played with shadows and had some fun with the leaves. It is an absolute pleasure to work with the same family over the years and help them to continue to create fun memories that can never be captured again. We can't wait to book our next family photo session with such a wonderful family!Gary + Sheena
Anna and David's relationship defies all the rules of a typical relationship. They were both high school loves, went their own ways and started their own families and, after both ending their relationships, Anna and David found each other again through a chance encounter and started off where they last left - in love and together. Sheena and I were so honoured to be a part of their extremely special day and to hear the stories of their lives, how Anna's daughter found her mom's high school sweetheart on Facebook and how they both reconnected both physically and emotionally. It is a story that is almost unbelievable, but seeing Anna and David together on their wedding day demonstrated, without a doubt, that some relationships are truly meant to be and reminds us all that love has no end.We met up with Anna and David at the beautiful Oakview Terrace in Richmond Hill, Ontario on a brilliant Friday where we started the day taking pictures of the bride getting ready along with her and David's daughters. After seeing each other for the first time we spent just over an hour roaming around the venue capturing their joy and excitement of being close to each other. The ceremony included lots of symbolism of the joining of their two families and the forces that brought Anna and David together again. Then, it was time to party and rejoice in this wonderful marriage that was always meant to be. We were especially touched to see David's daughter sing a special song to the newlyweds that had all family and friends teared up with joy. Later in the night as Sheena and I were outside looking for new perspectives to document the night, we were amazed to find a shimmering full moon that seemed to cast a spotlight directly over the venue to illuminate Anna and David's everlasting love. The perfect ending to a wonderful day and we were so glad to be a part of it!

Last weekend, we had a wonderful family photo session with Chris, Andrew + their adorable girls, Emily and Jessica + their soon-to-be brother or sister due any day now! What a great way to capture the beginning of a bigger and happier family than down at the beaches in Toronto on a beautiful evening! Gary + Sheena
