Toronto Lifestyle Photography - Product Photo Shoot with Luvali Convertibles - Summer 2014

We are so excited to jump into 2015 where we have so many big changes in the works for Definition Photography. We are updating the website, proofing gallery areas, and finding more and more amazing products to add to the web store. That being said, we also grew so much in 2014 as a business and were able to photograph lots of new and exciting people, places and products including the extremely popular sun hats from Luvali Convertibles. I first received an email from Jackie, who started the company a few years ago, about setting up a photo shoot for her 2015 catalog down at the beaches in Toronto. This worked out great because we live in the beaches. Jackie was also looking for a few little models to show off the hats which also worked out great because Sheena and I were able to bring out our two girls, Evi and Elise, who were more than happy to wear different hats and play at the beach. The entire shoot was around 3 hours and involved us needing a few lights, reflector and large diffuser to knock down the harsh sunlight. So, we may have looked a bit out-of-place with the sunbathers, but we were glad with the final result. Below are a few images from the session featuring our two girls, Sebastian as well as Jackie's kids, Ali and Jack. We had such a blast working with Jackie and all the kids. More fun shoots from the summer coming up soon!Gary

Toronto Family Photography - Sebastian, Peyton + Dads - R.C. Harris Water Plant - Toronto, Ontario

Not too long ago, prior to the frigid temperatures we're currently experiencing, we met up with one of our favorite families for a photo session at one our favorite locations in Toronto - the R.C. Harris Water Treatment Facility in the beaches. We really love having no specific plan for the session and prefer to simply walk around and see what presents itself. On this day with Mark, Darrell and their kids Peyton and Sebastian, we explored some of the really cool buildings, hung out by the water and examined some rocks, played with shadows and had some fun with the leaves. It is an absolute pleasure to work with the same family over the years and help them to continue to create fun memories that can never be captured again. We can't wait to book our next family photo session with such a wonderful family!Gary + Sheena
