For most sane people, going to the beach is something you do in the summer or, at least, when it's warm outside. Well, if you own a Labrador Retriever like we do, going to the beach is something you do throughout the year. This Saturday, Sheena and I took our dog, Mr. Brown, down to the lake and this time I brought my camera. Ice? Snow? Hypothermia? Cold? These words to not enter Mr. Brown's vocabulary and, yes, he is the only dog in the lake when we take him down. The funny part is that HE is the one who grabs a giant log and runs down to the water for us to throw it to him. After about an hour, he shakes off... in the car of course... and then passes out by the fireplace. Tough life that I envy sometimes. He also has the added benefit of not noticing that wet dog smell that Sheena and I have to endure when he gets home.
