Sheena and I had such a wonderful time working with Elana and Michael for their engagement session last weekend in downtown Toronto as well as the well known Graffiti Alley that runs east/west parallel to Queen St. From the moment we met in the late afternoon, Elana and Michael were just happy to be close to each other and have some fun capturing their relationship which made the session flow quite easily for us. We started in front of the Thompson Hotel and used the outdoor cafe and reflecting pool for a few images before continuing to walk around the area. There is pedestrian bridge nearby that has always seemed to be under construction, but, lucky for us, it was open and it really gave us a wealth of opportunities for some cool pictures. We then continued heading towards Graffiti Alley and came across all kinds of unique walls, doors, stairs, and pathways. Once we found the alley, we were overwhelmed with amazing art and colour so we made sure to spend a bit of time surrounded by the graffiti before ending the session. Elana and Michael were so easy to work with and were open to our ideas and also brought a lot of their own ideas as well which we love to see. We can't wait for their big day coming up in June!
